A Story ABOUT THE ROAD
Voetspore began as a travel documentary series exploring Africa through long-form overland journeys led by Johan Badenhorst and his team.
Since 2000, the Voetspore team has travelled across some of the most remote and unforgettable parts of the continent, covering hundreds of thousands of kilometres through Africa, Madagascar, India, South Africa, the Zambezi River, and beyond. Along the way, the journeys have become about far more than reaching a destination, they’ve become about the people met on the road, the stories shared around the fire, and the experience of travelling properly.
Over the years, viewers became part of that journey too. What started as a television series slowly grew into a community of people who share the same love for travel, camping, good food, adventure, and life on the road.
